What makes an actors reel work

Actors are great to work with and in most cases know exactly what they want in their reel.  The key to having a good overall reel is the quality of the clips, caliber of the actors, and how its cut in post production.  In many cases 1 of these elements can be missing and the reel still manages to hold the viewers attention.  When you combine great acting with high caliber production and HD footage the reel is sure to catch the attention of those intended.
