Black Girls Don't Cry

We’ve officially made our first short film, and what an adventure! “Black Girls Don’t Cry” a short film thiller of a Black college girl that goes missing. If that doesn’t get you a bit anxious, we don’t know what will. They say whatever can go wrong will go wrong. Director, producer Vince Mitchell and DP Andrey Misyutin had discussed in detail the shots of the short film “Black Girls Don’t Cry” when Andrey gets a call to leave out of town to shoot a TV show. The show must go on! Vince reached out to his network and found our next DP Anthony Mangini who joined the team and quickly hopped into pre production mode along with assistant camera Nick Buress. Less than a week out and the scramble for a camera package and table read for the actors is yet to be locked in for a location that would not be available after the weekend. Despite all the pre-production blues, even losing a key actress a day before the shoot, the onset production of “Black Girls Don’t Cry” was described by crew members as surreal, no stress, ahead of schedule, and down right fun. The crew is eager to go into production on the next film. Stay tuned!! Meanwhile checkout the trailer and movie poster for “Black Girls Don’t Cry”. We’ll keep you updated on theatres it will be showing in.
